Women for Women

Women for Women aims to offer mentorship, support, and resources for all women, not only to a selective group of women who already have a network through family and friends. The goal of the initiative is to support young women in defining their long-term ambitions, achieving their goals and having a group of women supporting them.

Through our mentoring program you will be able to form meaningful, long-lasting relationships with other women. You will get to know not only your mentor but also other mentors and mentees. We want to support you in your personal and professional journey - we assist you in achieving your long-term goals and short-term career ambitions as fast as possible!

You will have access to women from all over Europe with diverse backgrounds, roles and interests. They are all motivated to support you and cannot wait to get to know you. You will have a 1:1 relationship with your mentor but also be part of our larger community.

You want to learn more about certain industries, jobs, application processes, exchange semesters and more? You want to talk about personal challenges, goals, and skills? No matter the topic, our female mentors are here for you - in video calls and/or personal meetups. Our matching ensures the right mentor for you - all completely free of charge.

SCOPE Maastricht

We are happy to announce that Women in Business has become a Daughter Association of SCOPE Maastricht.

SCOPE Maastricht is the official study association of the School of Business and Economics. It is also the second largest study association in Europe, counting approx. 5000 members. Its purpose is to bridge the gap between business, academia, social life, and the students of the School of Business and Economics. SCOPE's goal with all events and trips is to enrich the student life personally and professionally.

The association’s committees are separated between the Career, Academic and Social pillar:

Career: Being the strongest intermediary between the student population and potential future employers, SCOPE Maastricht is connecting students and businesses. Due to its extensive collaboration with a multitude of international and multinational enterprises, the association can provide students with a wide variety of career events and establishes an exclusive recruitment platform to the benefit of all parties involved.

Academic: SCOPE Maastricht’s purpose is to academically support the student population in the best way possible and to provide career orientation in all study fields. Hence, they are exposed to relevant topics both linked to and outside of their respective study programmes, stimulating further personal growth and development.

Social: As the biggest study association in Maastricht SCOPE is organising multiple events within the student life. They range from sold-out complex and boat parties, to a spring break and a ski trip and to multiple different events for both active and passive members.
